It hasn't been very long since my last reset of the tracker, but in the time it's taken to collect 1300 votes, net, each candidate seems to be collecting almost the same percentage of the new votes as they have old votes. All within +/- 1%

The system will tally the votes, and reassign your vote for your 2nd or third pick if your first candidate gets thrown out. There's a neat summary for each past election that you can check if you want to see how it works.

Well, prior to Trogdor, burninations were purely done by mods who felt it needed doing and had time to spare. So you'd get a few [featured] and then the mod would vanish and you'd wait until they re-surfaced or another mod took it up
