alternatively, you can do a pre-receive hook on the server-side.

those are harder to write since you can't just have a script that runs eslint against the local working copy, you must deal with handling all commits in the push

@KendallFrey yeah ive been taking a look at the algorithms and seeing which ones might be simple enough for me. i'm partial to the triangle fan approach. however i actually need to find if a line lay in the polygon

i thought i'd first solve the point problem

of course then checking if EVERY point in the line doesn't lay in the poly isn't super efficient but hey

I guess you'd check one endpoint, then check the line to see if it intersects the boundary
