To reset a collapsed datatable to it's initial state whenever the user clicks away from the page on a mobile device. This behavior is automatic on a desktop, but the table stays open on mobile if the user clicks away and then hits the back button.

@SalOrozco id recommend starting your bundling angular 2 journey at the angular-cli and their repo. If that's not enough there are plenty of examples in the wild

with the angular cli workflow can you still minify files like say gulp

Sure. So only reason to not use angular-cli is if you're using a lot of third party "broken modules" aka scripts that don't use a module system

Their wiki has all the work flow details. I think if you don't have an opinion on how to bundle, is best to start with the CLI first

and write the import statement. maybe it was to teach you how to do it.

however, someone once told me (or I read it, or saw it on youtube) that if you want to be valued, pick one framework/toolset/stack whatever, and get really good at it. become a foremost expert in that stack.

it's a fine line. you don't want to get tied completely down to a framework such that you cannot move outside if when needed.. but being an expert in one will surely make you marketable. regardless (within reason) of the framework.

I'm really really good at ES5, don't think anyone here can say I'm not

like, I can make full-blown frontend with really good cross browser compatibility and interaction and all without libraries or external copiage, but that doesn't seem to be too helpful now...

it's not practical for the industry because it can be quite slow to produce, although maybe faster to run, I guess

as well as not making it helpful for maintainers if they don't know what I'm doing
