It's a tree, you have to remove a node from it's parent. That changes the parent.

I understand that, just thought it would be smarter. I know this code ain't right, but you would think you could do something like window.removeChild(el) and it would figure the rest out.

I've seen mostly negative things on flow compared to typescript so far, but I haven't used it myself.
