@Cerbrus It's tricky, though. There's a brewery/restaurant one of my housemates works at and her boyfriend is a bartender. Not only does he make well above average for a bartender, they have a tip pool so everybody there makes more.

Plus it encourages accountability within the staff, since they all suffer if one person gets no tips.

dinner service, server makes $200 in tips and gives the cook $20
