Hey how is the "too much milk" concurrency problem solved on databases? - Say I have two servers connecting to a single database: this database has "things" that need to be done. Each thing, however, should only be done once.
The problem occurs if (say) server A checks for "next thing", notices "1" and then Sets the "handle" field to it's server ID; Now if server B also checks for "next thing" and checks berfore server A could notify the database that it is actually handling "1"; Thing "1" is handled multiple times.

I have a plant I want to put in the fish tank, but it will be too high up to keep the stalk above water + keep the leaves below the light source

and I don't feel like raising the light source more :P

@rlemon It's basically not possible - since the any solution would depend on the average density of the "cup" not changing.

So the only "solution" that might work would be to close the cup (make it not open), and then if you add water you simultanously lower the air pressure in the cup.

Oh and if you wish to get the water at a lower altitude in a fixed-cup situation: you would just have to increase the pressure of air inside the cup compared to the aquarium.

(again would require a closed cup), or better said: there cup should not be connected to the air, and only have a hole under the water level.

man, CSS has some really weird stuff.. Today I lost some time with some positioning issues because I thought padding-top percentages considered the parent element height, and it considers the width instead
