I just sent an escalation email.

Anyone know of an efficient way to do a lasso select in React? Mine feels a bit sluggish. Was thinking maybe some use of transform would be more efficient

A <div> with style: {position: absolute; top:0; right:0; bottom:0; left:0;} inside another <div> {position: relative; height: 100vh;}. My question is why the former make the background-image have both height and width non-zero, so the imaged can be properly displayed?

the width and height should be non-zero as long as the parent's width is non-zero

if any one is not set to zero, i.e. /* top: 0; */, then the size of the former become 2050x0 in my case.

So the background image is not shown
