I only want to update if a condition matches and there is a conflict
so basically, instead of setting an iframe's src attribute to an html page, I loaded the page contents via ajax, and then created a shadow-root on which I set the innerHTML as the page contents. However, none of the javascript that got set via innerHTML seems to work.... :(
