the items in the conversation behave erratically

since the animations propagate all the way down the hierarchy

so you tell the RV to not animate its children

great! but now the options bar creates an empty space jump

and then it slides up!

it's just such a broken feature that needs more work

I had a lot of trouble with the auto converter not changing the XML correctly and had to do a lot by hand

The packages are easier to follow now which is nice, but I had some issues with getting Espresso to work with this, too.

I believe my questions is a bit more complex than that after all

say that I have a card with fixed width, and there's a textview inside of it. This textview has a maxlines attr set to "2". The textview is also an AppCompatTextView, cause I wanted the autoSizeText feature.

Now, if I have a single word that is larger than the single line space, it'll break into two lines instead of resizing the text
