Fox News has been guilty of this for a long time and is more prone to outright lie and ignore big things

but even the left side will gloss over unfavorable things

the problem is slightly left moderate channels are being treated like Alex Jones by the opposing side

The biggest problem I see is trump supporters generally distrust any contradicting reports from the media and trust Trump over anyone else because of his constant "Fake news" so he becomes immune from criticism by them

because they can just point to Brietbart or Fox news as evidence the rest of the world is out to get them and only these right wing outlets are telling the truth
