Sounds like the upload should be done via the website and not the job of the mobile app

Doubt there'd be anything you could do with the webview to handle the upload (though I haven't used the webview much)

we've got a webpage with a form, i'm loading that page in the webview. I've got some code in opening up a file chooser, and i've setup so far "Select File" which opens the directory, and "Take a picture" which opens the camera. Long story short my boss wants to change the form up so each media type has it's own upload using the capture attribute on the input tag. I just can't help but wonder if i'm barking up the wrong tree with this whole thing.

I've done camera capture uploads and file uploads before but it's been in native code, not a webview

personal websites are a tough path to go down. No one pays you to build it, and in my case as soon as it's "done" i want to rebuild the whole thing.

and the frontend will be on React Native, thought might be a good way to force me to do something "fun" in parallel :D

The code base is pretty good IMO...at least the last time I looked at it. The tests need some love, though.
