I have a very specific use case where I need to be able to write a lib to the lib folder

idk, our php guys were discussing about sending requests to another server and that server will send you responses, they said "so, request and response urls can be different", I tried my best to say otherwise that I don't think its possible.
is not it like the new server will give response to previous server, and previous server will give us response back.

Curio - the rule of debugging is performing some test cases, before digging any longer in your code. In your case, 1 test case would be to unplug your phone and go to the gallery and see if the image is there. If it's there go back to your code to complete the debugging

@BatCat my point is that when you explicitly catch the exception you don't get a stack trace printed in the logs unless you force it to happen, and so comments like this make it look like you don't have a clue as to how exceptions work.

we have websites now with emoji in the title... creating emojis in the url which breaks all url parsing... they are literally killing their referral system by themselves

@TimCastelijns I have a workaround!
I replaced the lib it's loading with a dummy lib
and just load the real one from the SDcard before calling the proprietary code
with the native libs all that matters is that it's loaded
it's not getting loaded into an object or anything
