just transform the images to base64 and cypher/hash/md5 the base64 string with the username of the user, that way nobody can "look at them" except their owner.
I actually don't mind if the images are visible; they will be visible via HTTP(S) once they're on the server. I just want to use scp to get them to the server to keep the server secure.

I created an android app, it works on the emulator and my old lg phone, but when I test it on a samsung galaxy s5, it just crashes instantly.
A few weeks back the app kept crashing on the emulator, i found out that the app had too many pictures, so I deleted many of them, that fixed the problem....
