Git doesn't really offer something like that, because a tree structure cannot properly represent certain things like renames, deletions, moves very easily

and from here I'd need a converted paths to tree view

Right, my point was the the tree view will not convey the same information unless you add additional tags like "create mode" "rename" "delete" etc.

Otherwise you'll just end up with a tree of files with some change, without knowing what the change was

So for a deleted file, you will show it in the tree, even tho it no longer exists

Similarly, a renamed file will appear twice, once in the old location, once in the new one
