It's meant to be immutable on each instance. Theoretically you can call newBuilder() on your retrofit instance and set a different url, but this will create a new instance of retrofit. You won't change the current one unless you reassign everywhere where you use it, i.e., in your RetrofitClient class field — FredJul 5 at 10:24
I created my own utility class for that. Whenever I want to make a network call I use the callbacks whenever its a success or a failure. The Library in use is MaterialDialog
