Hi guys, I am trying to develop an android application that processes camera preview frames via an OpenCV library. However, I want the frames to be processed in portrait mode. But I noticed that my camera only sends frames in Landscape and all the answers I've found online require some post processing by re-ordering of the byte array to achieve this. Is there a way to get the camera to send the frames in a portrait mode? (Preferably natively, I need it to be fast)

I am working with an annoying JNI binary. it only accepts JPEG formats. Because of this, I am converting a YuvImage to JPEG. I have seen a few examples that convert the frame to Bitmap via the Matrix API. But I would have to convert it back to JPEG and I am concerned with performance.
