I have a retrofit based question. I'm trying to build a library to serve as an API client. What I want to do is, when the API client is created, automatically call the authorization endpoint and store the token. The problem is, retrofit is asynchronous (which is not really a problem). I don't know what the best thing to do is - find a hacky way to run this synchronously, or create an onAuthorized() callback for the activity to use?

In other words, if I'm a consumer of this library and I create my api client, how do I know it's ready for use? If I create the client, and immediately make a call, I could face a race condition where the authorization work hasn't finished yet.
