Are SMS messages stored anywhere special or in a defined database by your SMS app? So like, if I switch over to a new app, do they have access to my old SMS or just any new ones received from that point onward?

Just watched the intro that went over the course but the most interesting thing so far was his 7 reasons to start a mobile app development business. Some of the key ones are: Everyone needs or wants a mobile app. Even if they don't have one now, most companies are thinking about how they can use it in the future.
