to be fair, the first versions had that name (and were used mostly for that, i.e. fragments which were a new feature in honeycomb)

but i think both the name and description is somewhat obsolete

Our downloads come straight from our server (not the Play store). But someone in the office just got an upgrade(they shouldn't have) and it downgraded the apk from 2.x to 1.x

as in, i use the amazon aws sdk which contains like 25k methods

its not a hard max, its just a max using the default compilation system

if you build in like a different dex file which contains all the big libraries and attach it to the apk during compile it works just fine

but that sentence is way easier said than done
