i just found out i was running a bitcoin miner malware

windows defender and malwarebytes didn't detect it

I installed Avira, which detected it

the file with gpu activity was AddinProcess.exe

it's like a container i think, not bad per se. it's a file from the .net framework

the malware was a fake taskmanger i think

You passed something that's a resource, instead of a file path

It should be a string, but a valid path on your file system

if i try to set it like this:
$myfile = fopen("myfile.txt", "r") or die("Unable to open file!");
then i got error message "Unable to open file"

You're passing the return value from fopen, which is a resource in this situation

Assign 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\your\file\path\myfile.txt' to a different variable, and use it for fopen and is_file

Also, your multiplication should be 5 * 1024

filesize also needs the string, and not the resource from fopen

like, how should i make new lines , like \r ?

my txt file is about ip addresess, like this :

10.3.3.3
and php displaying all in one line like this:
10.1.1.1 10.2.2.2 10.3.3.3 ...

like where you should i use diametter

it also does stack traces, for which it needs to collect and render method names and argument values. If you only care about Xdebug's var_dump, keep it in =off mode and just call xdebug_var_dump().

It's the rendering of argument values that takes a long time.

In my case I was not using any var_dump(), nor was I debugging.
xdebug was only loaded with xdebug.mode=develop and that was sufficient to make everything 10x slower :-/

@kelunik I guess it just doesn't make much sense, since ZendMM allocates memory chunks, so fine grained issues might not be detected.
