Ended up with a Ryzen 1800x + Raedon RX 580, playing around with video editing and etc, man, life is good

I encoded a 1080p 1.5 hour video with lumetri colors in 28 mins vs the 5-6 hours it takes on my mac.

Question: I want to create a functional test for a cron command in symfony. Cron just runs commands, so we are just talking symfony commands here. During the execution of the command, email is send to customers. I would like to test if those mails actually make it to the swiftmailer queue. I was thinking to turn on memory spooling, block delivery and just check the spool to see if the mail shows up. This doesn't seem to work though, since the spooler doesn't have any public methods to inspect.
Does anyone have a cookie-cutter method to perform tests like this? Preferably not requiring a tes…

@Gordon almost exact same setup, got a larger SSD though, more ports, and my graphics card is 8gb vs 2gb in theirs. Weird though, same card comes in two different sizes?

Not sure. It's just a symfony environment. Maybe there is a way to replace swiftmailer by some test dummy in config_test.yml. The test itself is pretty high level, so I can't really inject a dummy mailer in all the services that it overlaps.

@Danack my plain is mainly: Unit tests should be successfull and provide a good level of detail if something fails. Integration tests test if the "units" are part of the full application as intended. In integration tests I for example test if an eventlistener/subscriber is actually configured to listen to the events they are intended to listen to.
In the functional test I want to see if a certain process globally does what it should from a user point of view, without actually testing user interfaces. Failures in functional tests should normally have been detected during unit tests.
