@user8469759 idk, but wiki says «In 1999 it was chosen as the standard binary file format for Unix and Unix-like systems on x86 by the 86open project.», so maybe try to use <code>elfdump</code> to one of your executables; but I'm fairly sure this question isn't what you should be concerned about

there was a static compilation
now I've removed the flag -static
but since I'm using a g++ version installed in a no standard folder
and the gmp is also installed elsewhere

if you can't see the new file then either it's elsewhere or compilation didn't complete

from the last output I've posted here
I got suspicious
because the conflict
so I forced the compiler to get the "lib" path where I installed the last gcc version
(basically the -L/user/lcg/gcc_6.1.0/lib"
it wasn't there
although it was in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
I removed the --dynamic-linker
this is fault of the system adminstrators here anyway
because for some fuc...ng weird reason they don't keep the compilers and libraries updated
otherwise I would've just done apt-get install etc
and I would got my way with it

@user8469759 it's mainly for security and stability, quite a common practice to lock libs for users until something stable and tested comes out

@Phantom You just need to rearrange the code a bit, so both class definitions precede the definitions of the problematic member function.
