@FlorianMargaine Maybe use /bin/rm so an alias that auto-enables -v doesn't slow it down. :P

@kelunik it's a trick I've used many times, to rename

e.g. I had a server that had thousands of files in /tmp and so it was taking hours to boot, because systemd cleans up this folder on boot

instead, I mounted the volume somewhere else, renamed /tmp, rebooted the server

and then ran an rm -rf on the new folder whenever I had time

@TomasZubiri i use xdebug and cachegrind. you can run it on a live site even

it helped for me

there is also blackfire.io

Do you run cachegrind on linux or windows? Windows viewers aren't so nice.
