Q: Weird z-index with rotate-y in safari but not in chrome and firefox

@MikeBoutin I have had issues with jQ and -webkit-*, -moz-* etc properties. Try using .attr('style', cssStr) to set an inline style attribute instead of using the el.style object.

@VoidWhisperer I have never actually written anything for Android. I'm really not entirely sure how I ended up with access to the room, I think there was a stupid flagging episode/debate. Having said that - is the emulator maybe made artificially slower? Is it tunable? Because I know my PC is way faster than the average Android phone - I'd have though they'd add artificial lag that you could control to make is closer to the real platform.

@wes You should learn PDO, it has a much nicer API IMHO and I know I'm not alone on that. It does have limitations in terms of what you can do, but most of the stuff that's missing is stuff that no-one ever uses anyway (like multi-query) - the biggest problem it has is that you can't set the connection charset after you have connected (unless you SET NAMES, which you shouldn't)
