Hi again all, I have an off topic question about setting up a vps, this is my first time doing this, I am just trying to hinge my domain server to my VPS, I have so far made two nameservers ns1 and ns2, with the same IP, and I have changed my domains nameservers to ns1 and ns2.domain.com, is there anything more then that I need to do?

otherwise it's a game of luck. attacks are normally exploiting problems in underlying implementations to deal with charsets because some software makes this a guessing or a "i don't care" game

7 hours, DNS was not being allowed into my server, started off with a port issue, then turned into a denial from the server. In the end. One line in a config caused 7 hours of issues.

The blasted idiotic thing sticks a dozen classes in a single file that uses oldschool prehistoric naming conventions. You don't want to try and write an autoloader that takes the insanity into account.

Writing a framework? Then you surely have a single code path that all calls to render templates take, right?

@qwertymk Smarty is an external thing and belongs in whatever thing you have to contain external insanity. Some people call this "vendor", the things I use call it "third_party", some others call it "ext". Don't mix third-party code in with the rest of your classes.

You really, really, really don't want to force new normal standards on old code like Smarty.

Just include the class file by hand when you believe you are going to use it.

It is going to save you a tremendous amount of time and effort.

You know, it's a bit of a leap, but have you looked at Mustache? It's designed to be used on both sides, and it doesn't suck.. however, it's very odd and has no explicit loops. Makes it a bit painful, I've heard.
