I would not have thought that same material can be used to fend against foxes, eagles and humans :x I must be lacking imagination ...

@Potatoswatter I guess a lot here depends on how ambitious you are. Code cleanup tend to be a good thing, but as you said, it can get pretty tedious. I'd also at least consider trying to make it a bit more portable (currently seems to be for ios, but at least offhand it's not obvious why it couldn't be completely portable). Oh, I'd also add a makefile and at least one or two test/demo input files. At least if you gave this to me, I'd want to run it and see what it does...

Yeah, I'll add a makefile, which is just generic. And a "try it out" section for the readme.

It is portable standard C++, what did you see to indicate otherwise?

@Potatoswatter The s6::ios_lock stuff. Might be portable, depending on what "ios_lock.h" contains, but that doesn't seem to be included in the repo.

That's another repo also on my GitHub account. The ios there refers to C++ <ios>.

I'm annoyed that GitHub 1) shows the .gitmodules file at all, and 2) doesn't recognize a local frigging link

Anyway that's easy enough to solve by putting the URL next to the #include
