Speaking of which, I always find the US pricing system is like trickery. In China (or countries like Malaysia, Vietnam) there is barter system - seller asking for a higher price, you might negotiate a discount. Or the Australian/UK system, price is the real price. In U.S. everything is labelled, but when you pay, you have to pay the amount + tips (or GST if goods). It's like trick people into buying goods/services by showing them a low price. Then charge them a higher price.
