maybe if I've ever talk to anyone doing actual work in Blender and preferring it to alternatives I'd change my mind, but so far the only people praising it I've listened to are able to make a fucking chair, and that takes them 6 hours, and every professional I know basically moved on from Blender at some point

hell, even that "noob" sketchup has met more professional use because its component system actually makes sense and the UI doesn't make you want to punch yourself in the face
