Okay sorry let me fix my previous answer. Lookup fails unless there's an appropriate (not sure how?) name in the scope, in which case ADL takes place.

so get<0>(my_std_tuple) doesn't work. using std::get; get<0>(my_not_so_std_tuple); might end up using ADL.

its for an RAII thing. say if you wanted RAII for CreateFile's idiotic INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE error value, you'd use AutoCloseHandle which actually uses AutoDestruct<HANDLE,INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE>
