We have a grumpy bonobo, an angry puppy, a fast robot, a sex obsessed lion, a starry eyed cat and some humans.

If you guys had to "advertise" for some open-source project you are in charge, what would you do ? Putting on a website and hoping for someone to find it doesn't seem effective. And I don't feel like spamming the URL everywhere I can.

In particular, the ln command seems extremely complex

Shell isn't really very good at text processing. Simplification would involve rewriting to another language. Awk maybe?
