I don’t see the point in having “final” projects on pypi. Final as in, they are not a library used for something else, but are the final application that is executed.

It is amazing how many people want to use Scrapy to crawl Amazon. You'd think it would be a solved problem by now. Or, you know, people might realize they shouldn't build products on an every-changing website that doesn't publish an API.

Flask is stripping my HTML whitespace and I can't figure out where it's coming from. If you look at the source of swiftstub.com the whole HTML doc is trimmed.

I've been at this for the past couple days. I am totally baffled

well, you can't award the bounty, but the rules say it goes to an answer that was accepted after the bounty started, even if there are higher voted answers, the votes are only if there isn't an accept

@davidism umm... there's a 24 hour grace period as well

so the listing goes after 7 days, but the bounty person has another 24 hours to award it before anything automatic could happen

one of the teams has sniped the other's boat's barrels and turned the material to concrete

so they've been adding more barrels to compensate as they can't work out why all of a sudden it's sinking

I won't speak to the quality of those types of videos, but the thumbnails that most people make with their face in some weird shape taking up more space than the game itself are super annoying.
