Session variables and cookies seem very similar to me. I understand the technical differences, but how do you decide when to use one vs. the other?

Using jQuery, it's as simple as
$('h1').html('');
$('h1') selects all h1 elements on the page, then .html('') sets the html of all elements returned to an empty string.
VANILLA JS TO THE RESCUE
var x = document.getElementsByTagName("h1");
for (var i=0; i<x.length; i++) {
x[i].innerHTML = "";
}
Just insert any tag you'd like and wallah, no need for regex, or a 90kb library.
