It's hard to tell when he doesn't have a message posted on-screen. Because you could mouseover then and see that his most recent message doesn't fade like it's supposed to to let you know you pinged him. And he isn't receiving the pings.

They could use Java (probably not flash because of SOP I think), to ping a web server, and that's outside of the browser. So that would leak your real IP.

This isn't an issue if you're on VPN.

My boss is letting me work more hours now. I used to work 25. Now I work 33-38 ish.
Which is filling my financial hole slowly. But I'm only making $12/hr which has been my payrate for almost a year now. In this line of work I know I should be making more, especially after the year.

My question:
Should I ask for a raise and risk losing my extra hours and possibly making less money?
Or should I stay quiet and take the extra hours because I can survive on this now and not starve like the last few months?

I know the bike won't pass, it also won't pass a noise test but they don't enforce those here (not sure what the law on that is in CA) but I have a silencer. There's no way in hell it'd be close to passing emissions tests though. Thankfully it looks like Suzuki knew this and they sold a version of it with a smog canister. I just have to find one if I move.

But why would they set the bar so high?? The project is not going to die when they don't see any money from that IGG campaign. Had they set it at something more realistic it would have been better than nothing.
