You can abstract the context through an interface. But it takes some work to make that interface, and just expose the tables as IQueryable. Then you won't need that reference to EF.

@TeeSee That's completely normal. When you still have so much new things to learn, it's a good long-term investment to understand what you're doing prior to using that thing you found on SO. If you must wrap the form in an additional div, then it'll get more complicated. Because that div will be the root scope for the directive and the form will live on a child scope. If you can avoid that, do so :P
