Hello everyone. I was thinking about learning C# as my second language (JavaScript being my first one) Because I would like to work with the Unity3D engine. Is the fact that it is owned my Microsoft something I should worry about? ( @ me plz if you reply )
@NETscape because I would like to gradually transition into Linux. And because how Microsoft is handling Internet Explorer and DirectX and becomes steadily more of a closed system.

@RoelvanUden Pfff.... couldn't start any worse lol. Almost too late at work because of a late night haha. But I managed to be on time :) I hate being late..... And now I'm still struggling with a few things for my project..
@RoelvanUden It was a terrific late night haha, was playing the most addictional game I can think off hehe! And yes at 16:30 my pc automatically saves a open documents and C# Projects and then just shutsdown with the Message: Get your ass out of here, it's WEEKEND!!!!

an URI is not a string. so you need to convert the URI to a string

BTW, I used player.* to keep this shorthand. You really should list out all the player.fields
You can use LEFT OUTER JOIN also... but in this case I would think there would always be a row in each table.
Because down the road you will probably only want some fields. Also for readability. Imagine someone is looking at your C# code but can't see your table, they might want to know which fields you are asking for from player.
It should be somewhere in your code... Look for a string with the query in it, or look for a .sql file in your project. Also check in Properties -> Resources
i currently in test mode I am using the SQLDataSource...once I get the query down i will trash it and write my query using 'using' to prevent sql injection
since using the sqldatasource is not best practice...i never understood why microsoft continues to include it? from everything I have read for the past 2 years online it should never be used outside of testing
