I don't actually care where you put your loops, that's just a corporate overlord mandate :-)

the reason I'm asking that is that did you check the delimiter on the paths for Linux and Win? The code you pasted suggested that they are the same when they should.

I've had the sad experience of being a TA for a computer literacy class. One student kept accidentally clicking the New instead of Open (in Word) and couldn't understand why "nothing happened". He didn't see the stack of buttons building up on the task bar...

In my experience "nothing happened" often means "what I expected didn't happen"

in other words the converse isn't true. You can't always explain something clearly just because you know it well. Academia is full of examples of that.

any way, I'd better log and take my cryptography book with me...*sigh* just what I need is another textbook to study when I haven't finished three others yet.
