I don't think any of those are useful ^. Even #2, a google search of "read markdown windows" yields as first result the tool recommended in the most upvoted answer, and that answer is nowhere to be seen

The assignment was to make a Program plan (one step below pseudocode) for:

When a package is sent containing multiple items, on a fixed postage fee of 6,50 eur, the amount of VAT applied to the postage fee is dependant on the contents, (context: some things like books and edu mats in germany are VAT at 7%, other stuff is at 19%), so proportional to the value of the contents (and their tax type) the VAT for the postage is calculated

so if I send you 20$ worth of stuff, and its 10$ for something thats taxed at 19%, 10$ at 7%, then the postage fee is taxed 50% (10$ out of 20$) at 19% and 50% at 7%

I asked if I could just write it in C since I was weary and not very enthused about following the specific program plan layout he wanted (and it was more work then typing it down in c)

And the teacher flat out didn't want to believe me that I could write it in c up until I handed him a compiled program

@FirstStep meh I have never used that command, but I would not do like that if it is working with buffer you risk that all the stuff is not sent (you need to check api is that command ensure that message is sent, before moving to next line..), normally also you close serial port in a finally block (hence also if in error you like to close it)

or the object might not support it, in which case what you are doing should be good enough
