When menu slides into view on hover the user can click an button. When clicking that button I want the menu to slide back out of view as if hover out had occurred. Do I need to attach to onclick event or something to the button?

I am doing experimental database testing using liquibase which shouldn't do anything to the database, and so I thought, "Why should I need to do a backup?"
I thought about that for about 10 long seconds, and realized what a mistake I was about to make
We kind of had a development database, but one of the higher ups in our company who thinks he has a good handle of how development works decided to use that same database as a launching point for doing demos
So we were sort of obliged to stop working on that database and switch to another computer
We're not even really telling the higher ups that we're using it, because we're afraid they'll commend us for our excellent idea, and start doing demos on both machines
