but when you add permission in Menifest once when message going to send it display message that "this action may cause charges" so from that user can also stop this message

but my onActivityResult is being called before user selection
means as soon as i called startActivity(settingIntent) it opens the page for settings and simultanously called the onActivityResult
hanks Dianne, that did the trick, I have setup a Broadcast receiver to try and catch users manually changing values via the settings panel.....now its just a case of finding the names of all the broadcasts that are sent out by various settings panels!
