today back at office while writing a service.I had a this.save method.. in which I was doing..
`this.save = function(data) { return profiles.post(data).then(function(resp) { return Promise.resolve(response.data) } };`
the problem was it was sending the post request twice. out of intution I removed the Promise.resolve and only returned response.data, and it was fine. Why ?

@argentum47 In case you don't already know, you can check how the request was initiated by hovering over the initiator field in the network tab. You will get a stackframe showing the functions called which initiated the request.
