@BenjaminGruenbaum To be honest that was the only reason I was worried of Morsi's come to power. They are portrayed as fundamentalist by Egyptian tv too (they also had a fight about that). But other than that, Morsi was just doing what Erdogan is doing: Creating a moderate islamic country (not extremist), and reform the currently bad economical situation.

Did I mention that you can buy a house with a few thousand dollars in Egypt? That makes you see how bad economy is..

the reigning theory that explains a phenomenon is that which no one can disprove (yet)

and like I said, to me, the bottom line is what you can do with that theory

@zigi A long time ago, they weren't allowed to own land in western Europa, which historically leaded to many opting for trading and banking

@zigi it's a stereotype, Jewish people were forbidden from doing certain jobs due to religious discrimination for over a thousand years so a lot of them settled doing financial work (which they were not forbidden from since it did not include owning land which they were not allowed).

Today it doesn't really hold.

I like Turkey itself, I've visited it several times. I really enjoyed Istanbul and doing tracks in Cappadocia.

In fact what I just like of him is the changes in economy as Turkey growth stunted in the last years, whereas Europe's is to a decline.
