Hey @Loktar, I'll bother you again with a game thing.
Server side, for a real time multiplayer game, do you do a loop every x time or you juste handle actions?
for example I have a map and players moving on that map. I want to check server side if the coordinates they give me are "possible" (so a player does not jumb from 1:2 to 100:2 with just one right arrow push). but the player can push right, wait seconds, push bottom (without unpushing right), so player move to the bottom, and when he stops pushing bottom, right still pushed so player still move to the right. I am wondering if the be…

so like, the player could move around fine with the normal game loop

every few seconds it updated from the server

and as long as you werent cheating you didnt notice, only if there was lag
