I just did that and my result was that this one div that had all the parameters(that won't hide no matter what) showed up in the console as the sole one

The others though that didn't hide also didn't show up as well as the hidden ones

This is the line i'm using to hide:
$('li.list:not([data-filter*="'+ thisVal +'"])').slideUp();

This is how I logged(tried a different way):
console.log($('li.list:not([data-filter*="'+ thisVal +'"])')[0]);

Now my result is that the first hidden list item shows up in the console and the rest doesn't

ofc the first item gets logged. You have used the index, [0]. Please remove that, and you will see a collection in the console.

Yea...I get a strange issue when I do that, I was looking up my issue and came to the [0] array solution.

What I get as output without that is a very long list of probably indeed hidden list items but they all show up as :
li.list , li.list etc.

Oh wait!

So I can pop out the li.list output and inside of the properties I can apparently check the actual wanted output

html() is what you need to get the html content in an element

Well i have an app that I want to develop in phonegap and one of its features is a Candy Crush life system

a genious helped me with a jquerry script wich is 100% working on the web

th problem is that when I implemented it in phonegap it's not working the same...

Well.. I have 5 lives in the app and every time I loose a lvl one of them removes

and regenerates after 15 sec (for example)

the problem is that They go messed up when I minimize the app

and the life system isn;t working when I close the app

even if the script was actiolly written to do it

and on the web it works perfectly..

I think I have'nt implemented it 100% correct in the app and that's the reason

that's because Im only at the start with phonegap, I'm a beginner

and I'm looking for someone with a little experience in phonegap to help me set the script correctly.. (for now it's located in the deviceready function)

So please if anyone wan't to share a little bit of his knowledge...

I'm sure for a phonegap programmer its 5 minutes work... but for me.. I already spended a day searching for the right position...
