I have an array of PFObjects with a key that is a number, I want to combine the number on each object into 1, how can I do this easily?

I tried valueWithKey and didn't work

Here's a conceptual question. If I am building a photo-sharing service, do I really need to store the images on my server? I mean, why not just download it from the server and delete the image from the server after?

Sort of. I mean, have one phone upload, the other phone detects new image and downloads it, then deletes it from the server. Space saved!

you don't really need to ever save the image on the server, actually

using sockets you could probably keep it in memory and send it directly to the other phone

but the save on server option might be easier

That won't work quite well when scaling the app. I mean, let's imagine 1 million people using it and thousands of images being shared per second. I don't think the server will be able to handle that much.

receiving it and saving it to disk is probably more intensive than temporarily keeping it in memory then sending it to the other device
