whenever I replace a fragment, and go back to previous one, the previous one calls API again and reloads data. Someone know about what I am missing? tried retaining fragment instance already

Probably it reloads the fragment, or calls onCreate() again somehow.

Sometimes, yes.

Big storms can knock out power. Not sure what happened here, but since all of our doors require RFID card access, no power means it's not easy to get in lmao.
