got angry message from client " we can't see field X as it should be!". checked the app. they were correct. debugged the api calls. field X was returning as it was on the server. modified the calls to hit the production server instead of the dev server. they made the changes on the PROD first.

I know. I'm actually a really good driver, but I got caught up in a speed trap after the freeway where the speed limit goes down like 10 miles out of no where and it was late and wide open so I didn't even notice it.

The officer moved it to 1-5 over but I was apparently 15 (like I said, I didn't even notice). But he was really cool and he said if I call and set up my court date or whatever he would move to have it changed to impeding traffic which I still pay a fine but there's no points on my record, it doesn't even show up, so he's got my back.

He said that unfortunately he couldn't change it to impeding from the car, that I'd have to go through this process, which is dumb but that's how they make their money, right?

I got pulled over twice in one day (the first time was a crock, the officer even said so basically) by the same officer. The second time he said, "I'm not going to give you a ticket since I gave you one earlier." haha

In all fairness, I'm okay with it. I made an honest mistake and he caught that, and gave me a break. On the flip side, it's not safe to drive that fast and he pulled me over for the safety of those around me and I have to appreciate that because when I'm not the one who made the mistake, he's keeping me safe too haha
