I like the idea of feedback. I used to be in the auto-industry, driving an import. All they wanted to do was complain that I didn't buy their product. Not once did they look into WHY I went to the competition! If somebody doesn't like my product, I want to know why!

that is true but the side effect is the issue here: the app is worth 2* but get 4.5* because the majority is filtered out by the feedback switch... so basically the feedback towards the community is broken

I would go to the eclipse.ini file and at the top I would write -clean and see if it helps

that will create a clean configuration

I use Android Studio these days

if you are just starting with Android development I would start there since getting too attached to Eclipse's project structure and build system will not be good

Android Studio uses a completely different build system

to show you standard naming conventions

the com.example patter comes from reversing a web domain name

web domains are unique, and since package names need to be unique to be able to upload your app to the Play store (or even install your app you a phone)

that convention is used

I guess reversing the domain name is just so it doesn't look like a webpage

if it's an android project

then usually com.trevore.android.myprojectname

it's just a way to keep your package names unique. you don't need to own the domain you use, but if you DO own one and you use that as your package name, its guaranteed to be unique.
