then it goes on to play the "latest" on the list

Say you have alist of videos: a,b,c,d in this order - a being the top of the list

then the user selects c - you play c and after that you want to play a ?

nope it should play d

or rather b, then c

is it array[0]

depends on how u fill ur array but jepp usually array[0] is the first element in an array

which means the top of a listview is "a"

if you want what you just said then your player is playing up the list - not down the list which is odd and inverse oO

lol sorry but this makes no sense - unless you can give me a valid reason - why would a player ever play backward?

The how is easer --> find the element currently playing in your list and increment or decrement the index - depending on whether you want to play the video before or after that

because it seems like my listview records recorded video file in such a way

where the newest file is placed on the top

of the list

and older file is placed at the bottom

for some reason

well i am sure your list view can be convinced to not do that kind of stuff - teach it to place newer files at the end - not at the top or read the whole array from back to beginning

but this part will be a difficulty because the current listview code is the sample code given by my lecturer which insisted us student to follow
