okay so i went through the session seems like it should work. Just to be clear i can pass all three values (name, height, mass) from one page to another using different session name and when i logout the use session unset and destroy the relevant details will go away from the user's memmory

@samayo That really has nothing to do with networking or anything like that. The biggest thing you need to know about when you pick up C coming from a high-level language is "manual" memory management, I found that book really helped me understand it

I used to hit the same thing when spec'ing up phone systems as well. People don't want to fork out the extra £2500 for a redundant CPU, until eventually a site gave me a perfect case study, then everyone was happy to do it.

My solution (may not be the right one, but it was one that worked) was to use an abstract factory. A factory can use a container to get what it needs, it can use whatever it wants to create something. So.. abstract factory class (constructor takes container), then in concrete factory classes grab what you need
