my point was more that if you want something in C then you have the tools to implement it, that it doesn't come with everything under the sun is good in my opinion ...

@JoeWatkins My main point was that as a low level language it isn't without flaws (some significant). But most projects that require low level languages should be mostly built with higher level ones, and only use the critical paths in C.

@JoeWatkins yeah, there's no perfect language or spot for every problem. :-)
